I need to get a replacement battery for my HP Pavilion notebook but it is out of stock at HPshopping.com. I would be grateful if someone can suggest a reliable source for replacement batteries?

    Thanks

    Hi pta123,

I've been reading a thread that HP Pavilion batteries are on deep discount sale at Best Buy store locations. I'd check there first, ok?

Happy hunting! I hope I can get my hands on one before they are all gone myself!

    Pta123,

Is the battery still under the 1 year mark? If so, it'll be covered under warranty.

The laptop is 18 months old. So, the battery is not covered under the warranty. I just need to get a replacement. I am looking for a reliable third party brand or seller. Any suggestions?

The only place I know of that sells the batteries is directly from HP. You can try some 3rd party external batteries that you plug into the power connector on the unit. I believe it's made by N-Charge or N-Power.
