This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is there an HP STore Site update going on right now? As of 19:57 AUG 21 2011 many "Configure your own" links are dead...

    probably overwhelmed by people trying to get in to line up for notifications on cheap touchpads

    No, all the business laptops configure your own links were showing as "page not found". Still like that early this AM but now I just checked and it's finally fixed.

    HP is denying serious problems but it looks to me like they may be switching vendors and already making MAJOR changes to their PC business under-the-hood. Just a little evidence so far but we'll see...

    if you've already pre-selected a reason that meets with your own 'suspicions' then why even ask?

    At the moment I can custom-configure a notebook but ADD TO CART goes to SORRY WE CAN'T FIND THIS PAGE (11:47 PST AUG 23 2011).

    Now I can progress to ADD TO CART... maybe it was traffic over the HP Touchpad blowout... who knows...
