Alright so I ordered a dv9500t along with a printer and other same items. My total order used the free shipping option that HP has been giving. The printer and stuff shipped from their warehouse and arrived to me early last Saturday. This surprised me because I thought they wouldn't deliver it on Saturday because I thought they Ground shipped it to me and thats on from Mon-Fri. Needless to say I was happy with that.

Now a week later my dv9500t shipped on the 12th of July and today, the 13th, my dv9500t was reported to have reached my house in a day :D , but no one was home :(. So my question is that will they reattempt in the same day or will they try again on Saturday like my previous shipment? Has anyone opted for the free shipment and received it on a Saturday? Any thoughts would be great. Thanks in advance.

depends on what type of service it was. if it is an express delivery that takes 1-3 days then no they usually dont deliver on weekends but if its a ground/standard shipping that takes several days then they probably will.

also why are u lying to us!

you say you havent received it yet but here you have the system in your signature :O

do u have two of these? and if so will you give one to me :p

Haha, I have the standard delivery option that HP gives for the free shipping option so I'm guessing its ground shipping 1 - 5 days but from China to my house only took 2 days but no one was home :( .

And I just added the signature because I'm expected to receive it either today or tomorrow :D. I hope that its good enough to merit getting a second one..lol.

I would call FedEx and find the local facility, you can probably pick the package up there tonight after 5 or 6. That is what I did to pick mine up after my wife who promised to wait for it ran to the store for 15 mins and missed the package.

If you have the tracking number you can call FedEx and tell them you'll pick up the item at their location. They're open 24/7 on the phone. That's what I do when I know I'm not going to be home all day.
