This is my first post so I may have posted in the wrong forum. I read on this forum about other people who had ordered an HP Laptop and received it in 2 days with free shipping. I ordered mine and it's been 2 days and it's still in Shanghai. I was wondering how much longer it would to for it to arrive at my house.

    Here's the current status:

So Fedex currently has it, and without knowing where you live its hard to say exactly how long it will take. It usually takes 3 days before it even gets to the continental US from Shanghai, but keep in mind customs is backed up this time of year (If you're even shipping to the US)

    Aloha!

When I ordered my computer recently HP showed that it would be build by December 6th. I was prepared to wait 5 to 7 business days after that for it to arrive. My computer arrived just yesterday on the afternoon of December 2nd. Other members of this forum have reported similar experiences recently as well.

I ordered mine on the 22nd of November and got a dec 3rd ship date. I received mine on the ship date or today december 3rd. From looking around the site and other places HP usually gets it to you by the ship date.

I had a build date of December 2nd I believe it was. Then I got a notice that it was done, and would be delivered on December 2nd. Showed up three days early or so.

That being said, I think Fedex worked some sort of magic because I swear it got from China to here in Issaquah, WA in two days :).

I ordered mine on thanksgiving, and it got here today! It was sent to fedex on Shangai on December 1st, and on December 2 was in Anchorage, AK. December 3 was in Forth Worth at midnight and set for delivery around 9am to Plano, TX, Fedex estimated December 7th for delivery, so I must say I'm VERY impressed.

Yes I think FedEx has Santa doing some runs as a warm-up for Christmas! My computer was picked up on December 1st in Shanghai then went thru Anchorage and Oakland before making it to Honolulu and being delivered to me all in two days! I understand the time zones had something to do with it but props to the reindeer as well!

I don't know I read through all of these and was hoping that my case would be the same, alas, no... I ordered 11/30/2010 with an estimated build date of December 9th. It's never shipped or changed status at all, still, "in production". Now it will ship the earliest the 13th, four days past the estimated ship date. Is this normal? Did it get lost or something? I'm going to call again Monday, the guy today said that it should get shipped by yesterday, but it didn't... I can't upgrade to 2-day shipping can I?

NOTE: Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like HP just upgraded their Envy line to a free 2 day shipping instead of 5-7, nice.
