Notes:
1. For the Thunderbolt driver, you need to plug in a Thunderbolt device first in order to make the controller show up in device manager.
2. I generally find drivers from official website and Microsoft update catalog. Sometimes newer HP laptops have newer drivers that are compatible with old laptops.
