    Hi,
i just bought HP DV2852tx a week ago in singapore. I just noticed that there is 1 red stuck pixel in a bottom of the screen, somewhere near the taskbar.
So, i chat with the online technical support asking bout this, but they told me to call the service center directly. I called the service center, but they said i cannot replace the notebook, unless the dead/stuck pixel is more than 4!
I disappointed, because this is new notebook. I i got dead/stuck pixel after some period of usage is okay, but this is a new one.

Doh, someone experienced like me? Or i should just try to cope with this?

    Ed

Funny thing is, a few days after I got my dv2800tae, I got a red stuck pixel too, but near the center of the screen. I was going to call HP, but the stuck pixel went away after I pushed on it. It never came back after that.

Theres programs that can try unstuck them, you just leave it on overnight.

4 dead pixels is the industry standard for screens i believe. Its unfair, but thats how it works.

Dont know about singapore, but hp has a 21 day return policy in the USA. You should check into this in your location

yes, no questions asked for the 21 day return period. You can just return it because you didnt like it.

Replacement isnt possible though since its only 1 dead pixel.
