The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    HP Support Assistant breaking Windows 7 Help

    Anyone encounter this? I notice that HP Support ASsistant is breaking my Windows 7 Help, as in, when I go to Windows 7 Help & Support it doesn't work, can't search, the images are missing, and the first help page doesn't come out and says it's missing. I've installed the one for Windows 7 64-bit from their support page. It's a bit annoying that it does this. Had to install it so I can use their battery check utility thats why...
