The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    HP Support and Drivers

    When I go to HP page to see if any new drivers are out I use the Auto detection button and it brings me to another page with the HP logo and it stops there? Goes no further and never ask me to install any active X? I know at one time it worked fine and now nothing.

    Probably related to a recently reported security vulnerability in HP's Web Update.
