I have an Envy 17 1000 laptop that I have recently rebuilt with windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and I cant get the Blu-ray drive going. The PC see it as HP-TS-TB23 with a BD-ROM driver from 2006. I cant find a driver anywhere for it. When I load a bluray it see it but cant play it and it doesnt recognize a regular CD or DVD

    HELP!!!!

Use your recovery partition and do a minimal restore - there's really not much need to do a fully clean Windows install.

You should have a recovery partition on your HDD unless you re-partitioned it. Hit F11 at boot.
