I did buy a laptop HP TX1230 that have fingerprint reader incorporated and Bioscrypt verisoft access manager software. My problem is that doesnt work with Firefox at all.

Nothing happen when i put usernames and passwords on websites... In Internet Explorer does work very well.

Do you know something about this? Thanks

HP support only said that is unknow problem and was sent to research to investigate it

I did read on some forum that the software does work with firefox.

double click the verisoft icon in the bottom right hand corner of your screen,go settings adn options. under the single sign on tab do you have enable automatic detection of logon dialogs and web pages checked? i know if i don't have that checked it wont work for me.

Im using Firefox as default browser.. the addon wasnt functionally with the fingerprint reader.

Tell me about All options of you verisoft software, which vista are you using and the pc model. Did you never open IE7 since instaled? no one time at least?

seeing your post noted that mi fingerprint reader drivers are old (7.7.0.19). Im trying to update and windows said me that is up to date. Are you using Authentec AES1610 fingerprint reader? do exist any way that you backup your fingerprint drivers and send to me? its imposible to find it on internet.

ok. Resolve the problem.. (with a little issues)

The cause start when i get in logmein.com site (i have an accounte there) for first time... Firefox need a pluggin to allow get in program. Windows vista doesnt allow install the plugin because my user dont have "administrator privileges" (is the unique account apart administrator i dont understand this issue very well)... to let install the pluggin i did click on "run as administrator" in executable for firefox... thats the cause of my problem.

I dont know why but run firefox an administrator turn off access manager funtions to this browser as not to IE.

I still have some problems with log in in some sites but in others access manager run well at least.

I hope made me clear Though my english is not right jeje. y hope to help some peopel that will have the same problem in the future and right now.

j-dogg--- Really thanks for your efforts and time spend in my problem... really apreciate that

I have the same setup as you guys, but have had the most rediculous problems with the Verisoft SSO.

With Firefox or IE, SSO seems to get tied up. For instance, the problem starts when I go to a web site like xyz.co.uk, as SSO wants to save the credentials for the site .co.uk (it seems OK for .com sites where there is a single ".").

When it provides the incorrect credentials to the web site, I try to cancel, and SSO seems to refuse to let me, popping up time and time again after I press cancel. Once or twice I have had to kill SSO in order to carry on.

Another issue I have is that SSO is not reliable in detecting a login screen.

And finally, have you been able to register any other applications which require a password. I can register the application and at the time the icon appears in the top of the window, but after that, it refuses to recognise the application again. So I can't use SSO with other applications.

    Any thoughts?
