hey guys, just wanna say hi as im new to the forums =)

now i've owned laptops for the past i dunno, 8 years or so, and its always been a dell, but i've just switched over to a hp TX2-1015au and im loving it. i bumped the ram up to 4gig which seems to of made it a tad faster which is great to.

but the battery that this one comes with is only a 4-cell batt and living in australia doesnt help as hp australia cant get me any bigger batteries from when i asked a few weeks ago so i have to resort to places such as ebay and online battery sites.

now as i cant find a direct battery upgrade for the tx2 in australia, i was wondering if anyone new if it took the same battery as the older hp tablets like the tx2500 as i can find battery replacements for those.

as the 4-cell battery only lasts about an hour and im after the 8-cell battery pack.

i figure they would be the exact same seeing as the laptops are nearly identical apart from the screen (multitouch)

but if someone could confirm before i do this purchase that would be great

    thanks

    jaydee
