Did a clean install of Vista, but I was wondering where I could get the download for the HP Total Care Advisor. I tried looking at their Support/Driver site, but no luck.

    Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

[No flaming me for wanting to use this please...just curious as to where I could get it.]

Did you backup your SWsetup folder? It will be in there somewhere

Personally Total care adviser's use is redundant, you dont really need it. Most people consider it as bloatware.

Yea that's true...but I needed the battery information on that software. Lavalys seems to say that my wear level on the battery is 44% and I just got the laptop on Monday.

Anyway, it doesn't matter now...my laptop is overheating to the point where I can't type on it...I have another thread on this topic so I won't disclose much more info...I'm gonna call my case manager tomorrow to discuss a replacement.

    Thanks for the reply.

I agree with flip. HP Total Care is bloatware. No need for it.

Besides, if you want a battery monitoring software, there are better options out there for free to get.
