My husband just bought a Touchsmart TX2-1020US and it makes a clicking noise, probably in the hard drive. This is not noticable when it is on battery (so far). My question is this; Is this normal for this laptop or is there something wrong with the hard drive? He did a scan on the HD and found nothing wrong.

Harddrive clicking can be a normal. If a surface scan showed no problems I wouldn't dwell on it.
