I just bought the DV6QE with 1920 x 1080 screen. I have noticed really bad clue as the screen bleeds. I can live with that because i have external monitors and mostly use with them.
However, the most annoying thing about this laptop is the webcam. It barely works. Its not about the software, i know it because when i tried to bend the screen near the webcam the webcam works again. I have to put pressures on the edge of the screen (maybe wires behind it) in order the webcam to work.
Does anyone have this problem aswell?
I have tried to contact HP but they keep telling me to do system recovery....

Contact them again and ask for the resolution dept and tell them it works when you press on the bezel and stops when you let go JMO :)

Yeah, tell them that pressing the bezel affects it and also mention the light bleed. They will probably offer to fix it or replace it.

    I'll agree with ^^

It's clear that the 30% coupons weren't just a gift, there were some sacrifices in build quality and it isn't a very polished product.

It was clearly designed for maximum performance / components for the $.

after a week of contacting HP Australia, they said they can't fix my webcam because they dont have parts. the webcam and the cable are defective.
The funny thing is that i bought the DV6 6023tx for my girlfriend. These two laptops are very identical with each other ( DV6QE). They will probably have the same webcam. ANd yet HP refused to fix my laptop.
They can't even fix this minor issues. UNfortunately i cant return my laptop, i would rather go with Sager/ Horize...
