Well I finally got my HP Tuner yesterday and what a time to set it up, I tried to set it up using a RG6 Coaxil cable since my sat. box is at the other end of the house and cannot connect the tuner directly to the sat box. This set up would not work for some reason.
Then connected the turner using a s-video cable, this worked but to finish the set up you have to connect the remote sensor to the computer and to the sat box. Well the supplied cords are not long enough to reach the sat box. Then it is time to trick the program (media center) into thinking you set up the remote for the tuner and it works. So now I am able to watch Tv on the computer with the sat, although I have to use the second sat remote to change the channels.
When it came to recording had to try and find a channel that will allow you to record as some programs will not let you record them (even thou the sat box is a pvr?)
Hopefully there will not be anyother problems.
