I love the interface of windows media center in windows vista but the over the air digital tv playback is very choppy and slow and sound very computer power intensive. I have a core 2 duo 2.2 ghz with 2 gigs of ram and an nvidea graphics card (dv2500t) so my computer is pretty new with high specs... any idea how to resolve this issue to make live tv and playback fluid? If u have suggestions can you provide step by step directions..

    thank

I dont really understand your problem. I'm running the same specs as you and Media Center works seamlessly. It could be that your signal is not strong hence the choppiness. I know this from experience, when I had a bad signal, I was experiencing the same thing. hope this helps

no i have very stong signal and it has smooth playback in quickplay... I live 5 miles from the antennas so i am sure signal strength isnt the issue. any other ideas?
