I have the non-touchscreen version of this laptop. Is it possible to buy a touch-screen screen and swap it out for the non-touch and have it work? Kinds a regretting buying the non-touch one.

    Thanks

    Non-tablet or non-touchscreen?

I have never heard of non-tablet versions of the tx1000, but I have heard of non-touchscreen versions.

It is a tablet, but non-touchscreen, sorry that was unclear and I changed it now. Do you know if this is possible?

That should work. I have taken apart the tx1000 in my signature there is 3 cables that come out of the screen and plug in below on the back under the hinge. But that laptop was junk the touch screen sucked. This is one of the only hp laptops i hate.
