    Hey guys

Just wondering what other people's experience of buying from HP uk direct? I placed an order for the HP HDX 11 days ago, and have been given several different expected stock dates, none of which were true. They never bothered to notify me when they changed their expected stock dates. The customer service people are horrendous as well. They say that their customer service is award winning. I wonder which award as I always end up speaking to a pissed off customer service agent who kindly informs me that I can wait or cancel. Now the kind people at HP tell me that their expected ETA for the HDX is over 3 weeks away.

This is ridiculous. I thought that HP didnt suffer the silly delays that Dell were going through. Considering that I bought their most expensive laptop, you would think it would be in their best interest that I didnt cancel the order. Im sort of wishing I bought the Toshiba X200 now, as i would have had that weeks ago.

Are HP always like this? Is there anything I can do other than sit and wait? Its strange as I have seen other companies with the HP HDX in stock, so you would expect HP to have it. I dont exactly imagine that they are selling so many to meet demand, which is dells excuse for their delays.
