This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     HP Update...... WTF?????

    On my dv6565 running Vista the HP update only finds one update.......a video driver (which has failed to download I don't know how many times :mad: ).

    When I do it the old HP way by going to the website and listing the updates there were roughly 15-20.

    What's up with that?????

    Hi, it's just best to do the updates manuallly. I updated my video card with the latest HP drivers, yet the one it wants me to download is an older one, so it's best to just manuall update drivers.

    I uninstalled HP Update and go look for updates when I choose to do so.
