Hi, I just installed Windows XP on my HP Pavilion dv2000. I installed all the driver and I can't find ONE. In the device manager it says "Unknown Device." And when I double click the icon, it says something about "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System."
Can someone tell me which driver I am missing? I would appreciate any help.

Have you tried running windows update to see if it clears it? You can also try deleting the unknown device to try and let windows re-detect it and sometimes that will clear it up. Other than that write down exactly what it says and repost it here in this thread.

Looks like you are missing the HP Quicklaunch Buttons software.

P.S - HP has taken down the downloads for the quicklaunch software since they recently discovered a security vulnarability. I would wait for HP to issue an updated version before trying to install it.
