I just wanted to see if anybody can give me any info on the HP repair times for a dv6tqe that I sent in last week. I shipped my laptop to HP to replace a failing fan/heatsink last Monday (1/23) via Fedex 2-day shipping. I finally got acknowledgement this morning that the laptop had been received (7 days?), and it say that my expected delivery date is 2/9. How accurate is the expected repair delivery date?

I know that the actual delivery date after purchasing my laptop initially was faster than the expected delivery date, so I was unsure if this projected repair time was an overestimation or not. Because this is my only computer to use for school, this seems like a huge amount of time for a single repair to be done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated--thanks!

My laptop has been in 4 times for repairs ... usually only stayed in for 2 working days and then shipped back to me.
I always received it earlier than the estimated date.
But again .. this is in UK don't know how fast can it be in other countries.
