I have a DV9740US laptop (got it about 8 months ago) and the headphone jack broke (My knees hit the headphone while plugged in, the sound won't come out of the headphone jacks anymore) as well as one of the keys on the keypad. It has a standard HP warranty HOWEVER I just bought a HP accidental coverage warranty. Do you think they will cover it? Do you think they will cover it on the STANDARD HP warranty?

BTW, should I have purchased their BUSINESS line of accidental coverage even though I have a consumer product?

If you have Accidental Coverage now....then call them up and explain the issue. Verify that you have ADP before you mention this issue.
