Hi,
I'm trying to record and take pictures on my webcam, however when ever i start it up, the blue light that automatically comes on and ask me if i want to record does not come on. I have followed the instructions on how to get there but every time i click on the HP Pavilion Webcam link it does not automatically come on.
How do i make the blue light come on again?![]()

Do you have the proper drivers installed for your webcam.
Right click my computer, and go into the device manager. You will be able to see if the device, aka webcam is working properly.
It should be under the USB section, since most laptop webcams run off the internal USB hub.

Yes i do have the proper drivers installed. I went to the device manager and it says that it is working properly. It used to come up automatically before but now when i click on the HP webcam instead a the big "recording" screen, a small quick play screen comes up that just asks me to play the videos i already have. There are no options for me to record or take a picture.
HP Webcame does not work
