Ok, I have decided to order! NOW which warranty is the best to go with? Is the accidental plan very worthwhile>>>I am not a careless person?

well it all depends..it can be a good thing to look into gettin a accidental damage just because you never know what is going to happen...even if youa rent a careless person...
either way i suggest gettin a extended warranty
I'd rather be skateboarding -
I argree. The extended warranty will give you a piece of mind. The Accidental Coverage warranty may not be needed though. If this notebook will be sitting on your desk the majority of the time, the standard extended warranty should be fine. That's if you don't drink near your system or if you leave pens on your keyboard before closing your screen. The Accidental Coverage will cover liquid spills and cracked LCD's (I believe only once each though, read the fine print) so that may be a good option. If you travel a lot with the notebook, I'd recommend getting the Accidental Coverage just in case. Who knows if someone's going to bump into you or trip and spill their drink on your notebook. But I believe you have upto 11 months from date of purchase to buy an extended warranty, but make sure you check with HP first.

Accidental damage protection is awsome. It covers every part on the notebook against accidental damage one time per year. If by chance you ever crack or otherwise damage your lcd or spill liquid on the notebook or otherwise damage the motherboard, it will cost $649 + tax. If anything else else needs to be repaired it would be $269. The most expensive adp warranty is $299. The peace of mind that the warranty will give you is well worth it. If in 3 years you ever have to service the notebook for physical damage, the warranty would pay for itself AS WELL as give you two more years of warranty and tech support.
Don't get in store warranties. They most often do NOT include tech support, just a hardware. They will tell you to call us(HP tech support) instead. If you are out of warranty, we HAVE to charge you $40 to assist you, we have no choice in this. Also getting your notebook serviced at the store is more than a hasle. First of all you have to bring the notebook to the store and then pick it up when it is done. HP pays to have fedex pickup the notebook from your house(or wherever) and then have it shipped priority overnight to our service center and then shipped back priority overnight to you again. Our turn around time including shipping time is on average 5-7 business days. I hear from customers all the time that when they service their notebook at the store where they bought it, it takes 2-6 weeks. OUCH.
