come on..someone must have an opinion??

Semms like a nice price, especially with the BV screen at under $1000.

I just ordered the compaq r3310us yesterday for $1000 after tax and rebate. But if I knew about this deal, I'd probably buy the HP instead. To me, the specs seem to be better, unless someone can correct me.

yeah but can anyone give tips for any better deals out there....i will be using the laptop with some gaming and im thinking the GeForce won't cut it...thanks

From what I've read on the forum, the GE Force isn't good enough for intense gaming. I guess it depends on what type of games you play. Also, out of curiousity, how much in rebates is your deal for?
-
its $999.99 store price w/ $50 rebate...so $949.99 total.....its definitely a great deal plus i get the brightview widescreen with that price

seems like a decent deal...not the best i've ever seen. I would say after taxes it'll be just like buying it from hpshopping.com configured almost identically (+- $50).
I'm typing from a similar compaq machine and love it. Either ways seems decent for the price.
