I just got this laptop and it has a button with the Wi-Fi symbol on it. I assumed this was to turn on/off the Wi-Fi to help conserve the battery. However it does nothing when pressed. Does anyone know about this. Do I have to enable the button?

    Thanks, Mark

No, it is integrated into the computer (internal).

I have a zv6000 and my WI-FI button works fine. Are you able to access the internet wirelessly? Could just be that the button is not working if you are able to access the internet despite the button.

lappyhappy, Thank You, that is all I needed to know. I just wanted to verify that indeed that is the function of that button. Thanks for your time.
BTW if your ZV6000 has a DVD R/WR drive, have you burned a DVD? And if so, does the drive use R+ or R- blank DVD's?

Mine just has a CD-R/W, so I don't know if the DVD R/WR uses R+ or R-. Anyone else have a zv6000 with the DVD R/WR?

Look in device manager to see what drive it is. You can google the results to see what kind of drive it is and which discs it will burn.
