I just got a new hp 6715b. I want to uninstall the things I don't need. Has anyone ever tried those PC decrappifiers? If not, any suggestions on what to uninstall?

Just uninstall anything in the program list you aren't going to use, only you know which ones.

And make sure all of the same program gets uninstalled, people that uninstall Norton sometimes find the uninstaller still leaves things running so they run programs to remove it completely.

don't forget to run a program like CCleaner afterwards to rid your registry of unwanted remnants.

Leave the quick play/quick touch and remove all other programs, that your not going to use.

You can use PC Decrapifier, but I would suggest using RevoUninstaller.

Just do a clean install. It's a lot more straightforward.

If you know somone who has a windows Vista CD (It doesnt matter which one they all use the same image) Then you can just put that into your laptop and put in the serial key on the bottom of the laptop and itll install vista buisness edition back onto the laptop.

You get the drivers from http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...8540&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=2096#113165

I always find this to be better than just uninstalling the stuff but it depends on how daring you are i guess.

And i think its better to just uninstall the stuff manually if you are going on that rout.

What program would you recommend to completely remove Norton?
