    HP dm4 Volume Problem

    So I just bought an HP Pavilion dm4 today, and I was surprised to find out that the volume is dramatically lower than my last few computers I have. Even at max volume, it generates maybe 50 percent what my other computers put out.. Is there anyone else who has also experienced this problem and also might know a way to fix it?

    Try uninstalling the sound driver to see if the windows generic driver sounds better.

    Nope. I have the generic driver and it's really quiet.

    It's because the speakers are on the bottom of the laptop so it's blasting against the table before it reaches your ears.
