    Hi,

I just bought a new HP dm4-1209tx model with switchable graphics feature. Changing the graphics from ATI to Intel when not plugged should increase the battery life, right? Mine does not, it says 1 hr 27 min remaining when it was fully charged. I believe the battery life of this model should be at least 5hrs when fully charged. I already configure the power plan and i also reinstall the graphic drivers but nothing works. Please help :(

mine says 1.5 hours as well when fully charged but the funny thing is 1.5 HP hours is actually 5 hours of normal people time. I played on the net for about 5 hours on the integrated video before the battery got down to about 10%. So yea that time they put on the battery is wrong, it does last 5 hours. I haven't checked the battery life while running on the dedicated ati card but I would guess it would still be more than 1.5 hours :) not sure why it's inaccurate but it is.
