    HP doesn't charge

    I have a laptop HP and when I plug in to charge the battery it starts but after 5 sec the the power indicator and the main button for turning on the laptop start to blink together immediately. In the power options I see that the laptop is running on battery, however it's plug in the electricity. What's the problem?
