    Hi,

I just bought a Compaq Presario A970EO laptop and it´s ****ing amazing !!!

    It´s so beautiful :D :D

Only problem is the dirvers. It has Vista Ultimate 64-bit and all the drivers are installed and working exept the webcam and the WLAN. How to get these to work. HP had 3 drivers for WLAN abd none of those worked. And couldnt find driver for the webcam.

Can someone point to a direction where would these dirvers be...

    THANKS :)

did you get 64bit drivers ? if yes , then what error you're getting ? Try installing 32bit Webcam software

If the HP drivers are not working, have you tried downloading from the wireless card manufacturers site.

    Hi,

I went to My Computer --> Manage --> Device Manager and only found the LAN drivers info. There was nothing about the WLAN chip...

if you go to hp.com, click on support, type in your laptops model #, choose vista 64 bit, there's 2 Wireless LAN drivers on the site. One for Atheros and one for Broadcom. If you know which wireless card you have, then select the correct driver and download it.

    Hi,

Yeeh, I know. I downloaded those two and installed them both in (program files x86) and (program files) folders.

    And it did not work...

I really need this, because this is my sisters laptop and Im downloading some programs and movies (torrent) and have the same DSL line with my sisters laptop. She has school stuff and needs fast internet and this is the ways she could get fast WLAN speed.
