Hi, I've looked on the HP.ca website and they only sell more expensive models (dv1330). I've looked at the dv1000 and found a good price (converted) to quality ratio that is good for my needs... BUT I CANT FIND IT IN CANADA! Of course I dont want to pay outrageous shipping fees! Has anyone found any Canadian sources for this notebook?

Nope, Best Buy is the only place unless you special order it from somewhere...

Even then you can't customize it

Might want to see if you can find some lower end Compaq v2000s which are basically the same notebook.

I saw an HP DV1331 at Best Buy (Vancouver). You might also try Future Shop, CompuSmart, or DirectDial.ca .

    I hope this helps.
