    Hi
How long will the 12cell battery go on hp dv2000t. The brightness set to 80% and wireless off. Continuous normal usage.

    a very long time...
the brightness at 80% will suck up some juice but the 12 cell is rated around 5-6 hours!! it should be quite a while... depending what "normal usage" means. is that gaming? graphics or cpu intensive work? or just light web browsing. if its either gaming or cpu intensive, the gpu/cpu will kick into gear so that will use up some battery (id say atleast 2 hours of full blown hard core performance to be on the safe side probably more). if just light browsing or maybe a movie, much less around 3-4 hours. if you have the brightview upgrade, that will probably use even more battery. the 12cell is a beast of a battery mind you. best way to find out for sure? try one out in the local stores, return it if you don't like it.
