My friends dv2500 stopped working out of the blue. It will not post, nothing comes on the screen and no beeps. Some LED lights do come on and I can hear the DVD drive spin briefly but thats all. I have tried removing both the battery and CMOS battery, both memory chips(and one at a time) to no avail... Any suggestions before I tell him the motherboard is fried?
    Thanks for looking...
