I'm very interested in getting this Laptop. Price seems sweet for the combination of small size, specs(dual-core w/2GB RAM) and design.

Can anyone give me a reason not to get it? I don't care about the oversized battery or the finger prints.

Or can anyone recommend anything better for around the same price? Within the same Size & Specs range?

    Thanks in Advance.

Are you kidding me? :) This is one of the best looking and performing laptops on the market! Yes, get it if you like the specs!

Vostro 1400, but I like black notebooks. Can probably get it a lot cheaper too.

I saw the notebook in person at a local Best Buy, and I must say I'm impressed by the design. I love the bronze coloring and the model-specific variant of the HP Imprint Finish.

The specs seem pretty good for the price, in my view.

i was looking at that before i bought my dv2500 from hp the only reason i didn't get that is i couldn't upgrade the processor to the t7300 and there was no dedicated video card. But other than that its once great looking laptop

If you dont play games the CPU and graphics are just fine. Intel just released the driver for that video card for XP that enables vertex shaders. The Vista version is coming out any day now.

I don't care too much about the Graphics or Games. I use my desktop for that stuff. But will I be able to run 3D effects like Beryl?

I just wanted to make sure there wasn't any hidden flaw or something that I overlooked about this notebook.
