currently there is no blu-ray option for it, am willing to consider this for about usd150 like how they have offered it on the dv4 and dv5

call shopping.hp and they had told me i could get the laptop first and still be able to upgrade it in the future, now sure how much would that cost though.

also they offer a 4 and 6 cell option only, no 12 cells.

since the options i want are not avail i guess i could settle for the model that will be avail at bestbuy

I picked mine up at Best Buy yesterday. Needed a replacement for my DV8000, it's just too big for what I need now. I think for what you get in components, the price is good. I outfitted the exact components on HP's website and it was $253.00 more. Plus, through BB, you get an extra year on the limited hardware warranty. BB employees don't seem to know about this though. It's in the paperwork in the box. So far, it's great. I haven't loaded anything yet but plan to use it for college classes and light gaming. Oh, and you can't tell from specs on the BB website, but the 3510 comes with the 6-cell battery.
