Hello. Can anyone advice me if the extra cost for HP worth it? Aside from processor and RAM, the specs are almost identical. The external looks of both laptops are okay with me. If speed and performance of both laptops are identical, I would opt for the cheaper one.
The main applications that I use now are Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. No 3D works.

The CQ45 has touch controls for volume, mute, wi-fi, and quickplay. The rest of the media controls, you can access via FN+key combination. Anyway, it's not essential to me. I am more after the performance benefit of dv4 vs the CQ45.
Also, the CQ45 comes with the same remote controller as the dv4.

The CQ45 seems to be the better deal. RAM can be easily upgraded and the difference in processor performance is not much considering that the P8600 has only 130MHz advantage over the P8400. Not worth paying $200 worth if the rest of the laptop is fine by you.
