This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     HP dv4170us makes weird soft beeping noise from left area of keyboard

    It has been doing this since 1-2 weeks after buying it late last year. It seems to happen at random on infrequent occasions. In particular, it seems to happen a little more when scrolling lots of text on my screen up and down. Anybody else have this problem? There was one other laptop reviewer somewhere on the net who had this exact same problem.
