    HP dv5-1010ee warranty details ?

    Hi,

    Is the warranty on HP Pavilion dv5-1070ee globally valid( valid in India to be more specific)? I searched high and low and can find no details available.

    I am from India and want to buy a HP dv5t. It is available here in India with only a Core 2 Duo T5800 processor. So I plan to pick up a Hp dv5-1070ee from UAE in November. Could you please let me know if the warranty is valid in India? I will buy the one available here in India if it is not as I don't want to take any risks.

    P.S. : The HP customer care lady said that the validity is a "limited global" one and I would have to talk to the retailer for exact information.

    P.P.S : The local retailer says that HP gives globally valid warranty only in India and only country-wide elsewhere in the world which I think is just a big load of crap.
