    Hello...

    i have HP laptop and been using it for about 2 years...

    last few days i discovered and issue with i think its battery...

    whenever the charge reaches 50-40% it turns off with no warning :confused:

    im wondering why?

    my windows is 7 .... help please i'll appreciate it

    The battery is dead, replace it with a new one.

    Some of the cells inside are totally dead but computer/battery doesn't know it and _thinks_ they have full charge. That's why it shows half charge left.
