    Hi.

    I have one HP DV6 3240 - Amd phenom N850 - AMD 4200/5650m.

The last five or six amd drivers i tested including 12.8 my notebook loses all the brightness control when i close and open the lid, Fn keys stop working, brightness sliders in windows disappears, the only way to get back working is reset the notebook or uninstall the monitor under device manager and scan for hardware changes.
Any idea how to fix that ?
With old HP video drivers i dont have this issue, but the performance is poor.

AMD Radeon HD 6500M/5600/5700 Series (5650m)

    Thank you.

I had this problem on older drivers, though I haven't had it recently. What I did was change the lid close action to the do nothing option.
