    Hello!

I want to use the motherboard in my laptop to its fullest (or close to max) potential. I will try to make this as concise as possible.

    Model: Hp dv6-1362nr
Link: Newegg.com - HP Pavilion dv6-1362nr NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo T6600(2.20GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650

I have attached a document of cpu-z and gpu-z snapshots I have taken.

    Motherboard:
    Quanta 3628
    PCI Express 1.1x16?

    Upgrading:

    CPU Current: T6600
    Upgrade to: T9600-T9900 or equivalent E series (E8435 = T9900 for example)

GPU Current HD 4650 (1 gb version)
Upgrade to: I have no idea. During my research I have seen rumors of it being possible to put a PCI 2.0X16 card in this motherboard, but I have not seen actual proof of this anywhere.

    RAM: Current: 4 gb gddr3 (1333 mhz)
Upgrade to: 8 gb gddr3 (1333 mhz) or can I go faster?

    To sum it up:

Would I be able to upgrade to any T9600-T9900 (P 478) or the equivalent E series processors?

Am I stuck with directx 10.1 as far as my motherboard compatibility goes? If not what could my motherboard support?

I should be able to get a 4 sticks of 2 gb 1333mhz ram. Is it possible to increase the mhz on the ram or is that the max for my motherboard?

My whole goal is to increase my understanding of hardware and how they relate as well as upgrading my already good computer to a kick@#$ one! I greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you!
