    Can anyone let me know if this laptop HP Pavilion 15.6" AMD Phenom II Quad-Core N930 Laptop (DV6-3064CA) - Silver - Future Shop Exclusive - Future Shop has a discrete video memory. i noticed on the website it is listed as "No" but i want to confirm if this is true.

    I compared this model of computer to 2 similar computer and both computers have the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphic card as well as the laptop i listed above. However both of these computers have the discrete video memory. I want to know if the ATI graphics card add the discrete video memory or is it something else.

    That page on Future Shop is an error. It even states how much discrete memory it has. You should call them and inform them of the mistake.

    Yes. The 5650 can't function properly without it.

    thank you very much. I have one more question does the laptop also include an intel graphic? Intel graphics consumes less enerrgy therefore more battery life hours.

    No, since it doesn't use an Intel processor, but it does have the integrated ATI Radeon HD 4250, which it can switch to and have *almost* as much battery life as the Intel models. (maybe about 30 minutes less)
