Found out after going to Windows 8 and 8.1 as an upgrade the touchpad driver is too sensitive, but without it becomes extremely slow, either/or its not working very well. It is really jumpy, like when you go to tap on something the mouse pointer with move off target really easily.

I am using sp61879.exe, which is the same for 8 and 8.1, and the hardware ID is correct. This is the same driver for the Intel and AMD models, they both use the same touchpad driver. Other details are as such:

    Synaptics TouchPad Driver
    2013-05-10 , Version16.5.3.3, 136.29M

Is there any tricks to getting the trackpad driver working well (as in smooth and as expected like any other new machines) with windows 8 and 8.1?
