    Hi,

I have 2 questions regarding this QuickPlay thing...

    1. Besides the blue lighted QuickPlay buttons are there any other shortcuts that launch QuickPlay? Because sometimes when my hands are way to far from the blue buttons and I use the touchpad and/or the keyboard QuickPlay gets launched and I can't figure out what combinations am I pushing...

    2. If the laptop is turned off and I push the QuickPlay button (the leftmost) or the DVD button (near the QuickPlay button) the laptop starts and it boots into Vista and then QuickPlay gets launched. So I was wondering whether it should do that or it should start QuickPlay without booting into the OS? Something like Dell MediaDirect? Is it supposed to do that? If not, is there anyway I can disable this "feature"?

    Thanks in advance!

from what ive read it is not supposed to boot into the OS if it's not turned on and you press the quckplay button.

    Thanks,

I've just read a couple of topics too about that... and I'm kinda happy to hear it as what I thought was that I messed up the notebook by deleting the recovery partition.

    What about those shortcuts?

QuickPlay doesn't have the bootless functionality in vista. You will have to boot into the OS to launch QuickPlay.
