Q1 Whether the keyboard is spill proof or not?
Q2 What kind of material is used to make the laptop ex magnisium alloy ?
Q3 whether the plam rest area gets hot after using some time ?

How good is laptop in terms of mobility meaning taking it on the road.

I don't think the keyboard is spill proof, as only a few of them are at the moment. The size of the notebook is a little big to carry around, however, if your not too concerned about gaming, then you may want to consider the DV2000t. Its practicaly the same, although has a 14.1" widescreen display. A 15.4" notebook for carrying around is not bad, but it is still quite a large notebook.

As far as I know the body is of ABS plastic construction. Generally consumer-grade notebooks are made of plastic while more business-grade notebooks are constructed of magnesium alloy.
