    HP dv6025eu with EC300 DBV-T TV Tuner cannot get signal??

    Hi

    I have seen some similar threads but mainy relaiting to Vista. I have XP and my HP pavilion laptop came with an EC300 DBV-T TV Tuner card an anteena plus Media Centre. I have NEVER been able to get a sniff of a TV signal!!! I have downloaded latest 'drivers' as that has been suggested as a problem but no joy I have rebooted system, no joy. I can get through the TV set up on Media Centre to the bit where it says Scan for Services and it does so but absolutely zilch!!! Has anyone had this and resolved it??? Also I have seen posts on other Forums where people say they cannot get signal through Media Centre but can watch TV through QuickPlay. I have Quickplay but - and excuse me if this is really dumb question - how do you watch TV through this? Only menu buttons I can find are for watching DVDs or listening to music??

    Any help with this would be appreciated - it's driving me nuts!!!!
