I purchased a HP dv6253cl laptop but had problems with Vista so I dual booted with XP Pro. I have everything running perfectly except I have no audio nor can I find the hardware in Device Manager. I looked on the HP site for the driver but the Conexant High-Definition Audio driver is only available for Vista and not XP, leaving me at a sand still. Any ideas?

When I dual booted last night I had the same problem with the ethernet card and fixed it with a driver that was available for another computer, but I've tried this for the audio driver and it always fails. Help please?

    Thanks
