    HP dv6500t Screen??

    I was wondering is it just me or does the screen for the HP dv6500t say HP Pavilion dv6000 on the top right?

    Im just wondering :p if its jut me or its like that

    yea all the new ones do. i have a 2500 it says 2000. ive read that either they haven't upgraded the badge they stick on the laptops yet, or because its a 6000 series they just put 6000 instead of 6500 not sure but they all have the same thing

    Seriously, all of the Pavilions have the same series badge so they don't have to put in a new tag to identify each model revision number. For instance, mine is from the 62xx line, and there are 61xx, 63xx, 64xx, lines too, but they're all part of the 6000 series and have the same "dv6000" tag.

    When HP comes out with a new series number I suspect they will update the tag at that time.
