HP dv6700t Notebook [Keyboard Replacement]

I have a dv6700t with the black keyboard. Unfortunately, there's a bunch of oil on the keyboards so I plan to replace it with the silver one. Has anyone managed to replace their black keyboards with the silver keyboards? Could you post a picture just to see how it looks like with the regular dv6700t notebook? Thanks.

yea, i found some on ebay for 20 bucks, so i plan on swapping the black one with the silver. has anyone done it? also could someone provide me with a picture on a non-special edition notebook? thanks.

 

HP has some great step-by-step videos on how to remove and replace components for all of their notebooks.

I havent actually seen anyone do it before, but it will work.

In my imagination, i can see it looking weird on a normal pavilion. I was thinking of doing it before aswell, but i can tell the colors wont match

 

flipfire, that's what i was worried about. i was hoping to see a picture of someone whose done it on a regular hp pavilion.

 

Use your imagination, put a photo of both next to each other.

IMO they dont match, but i dont know about yours.
